The Vista Band Boosters (501c3) mission is to support the VHS band program by raising financial contributions, organizing volunteer opportunities, and hosting the Vista Invitational Field Tournament each year.

Vista Band History and Legacy
The VHS Regimental Band and Pageantry Corps have a long history of excellence that stretches back to 1972. During that time they were led by some of the most well respected musicians/band directors in the state including Mr. Ken Gammie, Mr. John Vorwald, and Mr. Ralph Ewell.
Some notable and more current achievements include:
1985: Marched in the Tournament of Roses Parade in Pasadena
1998: Marched in the Fiesta Bowl New Year’s Day Parade
2011: 1st Place @ SCSBOA, 5A Championships, 1st place Color Guard,
2012: Vista Symphonic Winds invited as one of six bands to perform at the Western States Band Festival @ University of the Pacific, Stockton
2013: 2nd Place @ SCSBOA 5A Championships
April 2014: The Vista Symphonic Winds perform @ Carnegie Hall in NYC and receive Gold rating
Received the first grant for a commissioned work by World Projects. "Down the Lonely Path", written by Brett Abigana, premiered April 23, 2014 with the composer in attendance.
June 4, 2014 was declared "Vista High School Band Day" in the city by the mayor and city council.

2015: 1st Place @ SCSBOA 5A Championships, 1st place percussion
April 2017: The Vista Symphonic Winds perform @ Carnegie Hall in NYC and receive Gold rating
2022-2023 SCSBOA Division 3A 1st Place
